All seems well, except that the “terminal” application (the “root
terminal”, also) do not start when I click on the icon.
Any thoughts on how to debug this?
Install another terminal app (such as eterm) and test from it to
see what is spitted by the wanted app.
So I started the "Files" app and navigated to /usr/bin located the
"xterm" app and double clicked on it.
That got me a terminal with a shell in it. I typed "gnome-terminal" to
the shell and got the following error messages. Anybody know what they
mean? And how can I fix them? Should I file a bug report? If so
against which package?
rbthomas@debian:/usr/bin$ gnome-terminal
