all of the apt tools, including aptitude, depend on what sources you have added. man sources.list There are certainly good web pages as well, but the manpage has an example that includes contrib and non-free. ciao, der.hans
I'm sorry, I don't see anything in the documentation about this. If aptitude cannot be used, what am I supposed to do?
