OK, I tried:
Generating package: Debian/stable
./packages/Debian/ati-packager.sh: 1: ./packages/Debian/ati-packager.sh:
dpkg-architecture: not found
Error: unsupported architecture:

Just to confirm:
lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 7.4 (wheezy)
Release: 7.4
Codename: wheezy

Yes, wheezy is stable; today. But at the time the driver package was built,
what would have been 'stable'?
