reportbug will be invoking whatever your default text editor is. If the
VISUAL or EDITOR environment variables are defined, it will attempt to
run the program they specify; otherwise it will invoke the simple text
editor 'nano' (which is what you appear to be having trouble with).
nano's on-screen help uses the conventional Unix notation of ^A, ^B, ^C,
etc. to indicate Control-A, Control-B, Control-C, etc. Pressing
Control-X will prompt you to save the modified buffer (answer Yes);
reportbug will detect that the file it created for you to edit has been
successfully edited, and continue with its normal sequence of operations.
