Say it isn't so. > You could try the Download Helper add-on. Download the video and then play it locally with VLC or maybe mplayer. Also, Totem used to have a youtube plugin that would allow you to search youtube w/o using a web browser. It's been a couple years since I've used it, so I can't really say if I recommend it or not.
