....I'm sorry Nicos...for the reply..I did not see the "to:"

Thanks for your suggestions Nicos,

I have mounted, as you explain, the usbfs, and now I can see devices
with command "lsusb", and also following the path /proc/bus/usb/.

I have only 2 usb devices, one is an hub and the other is a usb mouse.
The usb mouse, as I said, does not work, but I was not so precise
concerning the "does not work"...

Under the path "/dev/input/", I have the following devices:

event0  event2  js0  js2  mice    mouse1  mouse3
event1  event3  js1  js3  mouse0  mouse2

I think I have set up my mouse correctly for X.
Checking the X log files, all seem ok!
But the mouse does not move the pointer!

I have done a test with an other usb device, an usb key of my friend;
the system recognize it, and I have mounted as scsi device...It works!

So I think we could say that usb subsystem works..
What do you think?
And the problem is my Logitech mx700 USB mouse...

bye and thanks
Lorenzo
