/dev/sdb uses the same layout as /dev/sda.
Clear.
Mount new root into, say /mnt. Mount new boot into /mnt/boot.
Bind-mount /proc, /dev and /sys into /mnt/proc (/mnt/dev and /mnt/sys).
Chroot into /mnt.
Invoke 'update-initramfs -k all -u'.
Exit chroot, unmount everything.
Poweroff, remove unneeded disks, poweron.
That's the procedure I've used for this.
Reco, thank you for taking the time. I'm going to read about this,
before doing it, using your procedure as a guide.
