It's as expected by the /etc/apt/preferences I posted, anything else has got the default value, IOW upgrade stuff has a priority of 500. I can't reboot now, so not post the output of 'apt-cache policy' and 'apt-cache policy libglade2-dev'. Perhaps upgrading to unstable is the best thing to do, while "unstable" doesn't sound that good ;).
