Using Mutt to filter mails which form a thread wasn't the point I was trying to make, although I was gratified to find that, together other programs, blacklisting of participants (whoever they may be) is possible with it. More to the point is whether filtering on the From: header is a solution to not wanting to see mails in a particular thread and, if not, what headers are more suitable and can it be done with Kmail.
