I don't know pkexec. Does it allow something gksudo doesn't allow? If there should be the need to log in as another user with gksudo, this does the trick: xhost + gksudo -u add_another_user_here "$*" xhost - exit -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
