If normal mkinitrd scripts don't add the module, you can list it in /etc/mkinitrd/modules and then rebuild the initrd.img with: mkinitrd -o initrd.img-2.4.22-test If it works correctly, you can later move it to /boot. > > I then tried to mount /boot/initrd.debinstall so that I could see what > it contained, and "roll my own".
