I am upgrading to testing, it does not boot. I have a striped md
softraid, which is encrypted with dm crypt, which is broken into
logical volumes for root home and swap.

It does not get to the crypto, and tries to do the volume group first.
It hangs at cryptsetup: evsm_activate is not available.

The old 3.2 kernel from wheezy boots fine, I imagine this problem I'm
having can be fixed, I'm hoping I don't need to do a fresh install
especially a disk setup and spend hours loading a backup of my home
directory.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

John Tate.
