IMHO, neither. I went with LXDE. I wanted functional and fast. As for trying both, I did and ended up taking a day with deborphan, awk, grep, and dpkg just to remove all the unnecessary stuff left over afterwards. KC9EYE ---------------------------- Different people have different equipment and different needs. That's the great thing about Linux - choice. Try them out and find one that works for you. I use KDE on my main computer, LXDE on my aging laptop and bash/ssh on the servers I look after. One size never fits all.
