Yes, I can access both gmail and gmx.com mail with my mutt without
problem, which is why I did mention my server, in case that was
part of what's significant here.
In fact, I actually have two servers from which I'm collecting mail,
and accessing those particular accounts is when I see the segfaults.
Both servers are running squeeze, postfix, dovecot, and I am accessing
mail on both over IMAP.
I was able to access mail from both before upgrading to wheezy, without
segfaults.
