Please don't top-post. I haven't set up any encrypted filesystems myself, but my understanding is that the initramfs can boot using such filesystems. I would imaging that this would require an unencrypted /boot to load the kernel and initramfs, but this could be on LVM as well as the encrypted rootfs. Regards, Roger -- .''`.
