My inclination from wayback was that if I had done something in perl, the email address in the documentation would be perl@.... It seems that I need to get serious about some of this, and I am not quite sure what is the best way to approach this.
I am guessing the running Git is the best option for version control. But looking at the setup for dummies part of the documentation, it wants people to configure Git with an email address. Which makes me think that to do things in the way I had originally leanded towards, I would have to have to add a UserID of perl to my computer, who happened to have /home/fred/src/perl as a HOME directory, and that the UID of perl is the same as that of fred. Does this make sense? Is there a better way? Gord -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
