32 bits.
There are many versions of intel processors, and they are usually
called "x86" familly.
When they are usual 32 bits, you will have things like i386, i486, i586
or i686 (i think the 'i' is for intel structure, the 86 for the family,
and 3,4,5 or 6 the version).
For 64 bits versions, I have only seen the 64_x86 appellation, here 64_
is only a prefix to say 64bits.
The interest of knowing the version of the processor is for
compile-time optimizations (using more features of your processor will
improve softwares' performances).
