Let me Google the way to do it for gnome3... okay, this will retrieve the current value: gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.a11y.keyboard enable If that's set to "true" you can toggle off with: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.a11y.keyboard enable false And also by disabling "slow keys" from "Accesibility" applet.
