For the last few releases of Thunderbird (Linux Debian Sid) my

(thunderbird-bin:2386): GLib-GObject-WARNING **:

signal name `selection_changed' is invalid for instance `0x9f94baf0'
For the type of message it seems to be related to the glib library.
Anyway, 12.x is now old ;-), have you considered an update to the
latest version available (now 13.0.1)?
Sorry...first time it went private :)
Minutes after I wrote the above Thunderbird prompted me to DL
13.0.1....so I did. No change still getting pages of the messages.
Google returned this:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738549
Not sure if it could have any link with your problem, though.
Must have missed that one....it sure sounds like my problem. Wonder
why no one else is reporting it?
For a while Firefox was doing something similar. but that has now stopped.
