This is great to know, but I think I will not be trying it soon, as I've learned from another reply that there is a newer version of the Lenny netinst iso for which editing is not needed. I hope I can remember this the next time I have a seemingly impossible problem. But I hope also that the next impossible problem won't be soon, and I'm getting old, and my memory not so good as it once was.
