The subject says it all. My desktop when running LXDE shows every
file in my home directory as an icon over my background image. I
normally run with no desktop icons and LXDE did this well in the past.
I can't find any place to set this behavior. I've removed/purged LXDE
a couple of times to no avail. I've checked through everything
in /home/cybe/.config, through all the pcManFM preferences andconfigs
and through everything OpenBox.

Although I prefer LXDE, I am reduced to using Xfce4 in the mean time
while I attempt to sort this out.

Does anyone have a 'gimme' clue about how to go about getting rid of all
these icons? I'd be very appreciative.
