Hi, I ran into some problems with PlayOnLinux after my last upgrade. I had it working with several games, and now, it doesn't. I did do an upgrade on 29.04.12 and another one 18.05.12. (The one on 29.04 had issues with initrd, so I was hesitant to reboot.)
In any case, I wanted to clear out everything because I had no sound (I am seriously thinking about getting rid of pulse -- again). So after reboot, sound worked fine. I also fired up playonlinux, and got the following: *** glibc detected *** C:\Program Files\StarCraft II\Versions\Base21029\SC2.exe: malloc(): memory corruption: 0x7cbe4ce8 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib32/libc.so.6(+0x6f121)[0xf74de121] /lib32/libc.so.6(+0x71f24)[0xf74e0f24] /lib32/libc.so.6(__libc_malloc+0x5c)[0xf74e2b2c] /usr/lib32/libXi.so.6(XIQueryDevice+0x140)[0x7dc518d0] /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/winex11.drv.so(+0x38f75)[0x7de0ef75] /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/winex11.drv.so(+0x39828)[0x7de0f828] [Snip...] /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/d3d9.dll.so(+0x20852)[0x7e2de852] [0x974f24] [0x96d33b] [0x807233] [0x807d02] [0x808c5e] [0x808ef0] /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/kernel32.dll.so[0x7b83bd13] /usr/lib32/libwine-unstable.so.1(+0x9b7d)[0xf75eeb7d] ======= Memory map: ======== 00010000-00110000 rw-p 00000000 00:00 0 00110000-001b0000 rwxp 00000000 00:00 0 001b0000-00220000 ---p 00000000 00:00 0 [Snip...] 7e130000-7e140000 r-xp 00000000 fe:05 137483 /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/psapi.dll.so 7e140000-7e141000 rw-p 00000000 00:00 0 7e141000-7e142000 r-xp 00011000 fe:05 137483 /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/psapi.dll.so 7e142000-7e143000 rwxp 00012000 fe:05 137483 /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/psapi.dll.so 7e143000-7e150000 r-xp 00000000 fe:05 139087 /usr/lib32/wine-unstable/dsound.dll.so Any ideas? At first, I thought it might be sound-related, as the application hung after dsound.dll.so, but now I'm not so sure. I can't determine whether it is playonlinux that is the problem or wine itself (which is wine-unstable-1.5.0-0.2).
