Warning to those running sid / experimental. I have filed a bug against libpng12-0. it causing a total failure of at least kde on my sytem (AMD64 architecture). kde, kdm, iceweasel, etc crashes. kdm did not even start, and I installed xdm + icewm thinking it is a kde issue; but from within icewm, I tried running ideweasel, and also konsole, and found these errors:-
