hey guys, i just downloaded Oracle9i Database Release 2 on oracle.com its composed of 3huge 500mb+ files. I transfferred it to my shell only server. and did the instructions as told on the website of oracle.
but, when i tried running ./runInstaller on Disk1 it ask me for a DISPLAY so i just export a setting. And found out that Oracle must be run on a GUI?.
