I think XFS is better for large files - such as video etc. ReiserFS seems to pack the files in much better than ext3 for me. On one of my systems I have the basic system (including /usr and /var) on an ext3 system with a file to file backup on a ReiserFS system. The backup is about 8% smaller than the original. (1.19G original 1.11G backup) as taken with the df command. -- Alan Chandler [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
