All suggestions welcome. IIRC, there was a recent update for some "pixbuf" packages. Should this update still does not solve the issue, I would go to Debian BTS to open a bug report for this. Maybe not a bug at all, but at least you will get a better direction on where the problem can lay and how to solve it.
