Hi I've succeeded in getting VirtualBox running on Wheezy, The install fails as DKMS cant build vboxdrv, nor will it build manually. Compiling voxdrv also fails. But the is a pre-compiled kernel module vboxdrv.ko , running modprobe vboxdrv does work and allows VirtualBox to function. Now to get it to load at boot. Virtualbox looks like it runs if its started, the gui is there, and you can set up the virtual drives. However, it need kernel module vboxdrv to run the VM.
Virtualbox 4.1.8-dsfg-1 location of vboxdrv pre-compiled module /usr/src/virtualbox-4.1.8/vboxdrv Hope that stops someone else pulling their hair out. -- Best wishes / 73 Richard Bown e-mail: rich...@g8jvm.com or richard.b...@blueyonder.co.uk nil carborundum a illegitemis ################################################################################## Ham Call G8JVM .
