I use nis on my LAN for storing passwd, group, hosts, services, etc, information.
I need to update the hosts file with new ip addresses. Is there an command or easy way to propagate updated host information to the NIS database, or do I just use ypinit and rebuild the whoe database?

Rerun the Makefile in /var/yp and cross fingers.
