You can always remake the swap partition. You can even set the old uuid on them if you like. The options are in the man page for mkswap. Whatever. But I would remake the swap partition and then find the new uuid and then record it and you will be set. # mkswap /dev/sdXY # blkid # editor /etc/fstab Bob
