[off]
Is there a mute option? Perhaps you need to un-mute the channels? The
faders might be at 100%, anyway the channels can be muted.
I'm using professional sound cards, that need special mixers, so I don't
know what options are for such on-board devices and alsamixer. "[off]"
seems to lead to a mute option?!
To unmute: run alsamixer, go to the channel you want (master, etc) and
hit "m".
pulseaudio is gone, all channels are turned up and not muted.
Another thought I had: do you have an /etc/asound.conf or ~/.asoundrc ?
I have no /etc/asound.conf or ~/.asoundrc
I still have no sound, any other ideas?
Thanks for the continued help.
Best regards
