It is very important that: - you are patient :) - you describe your problem as accurately as possible (what is your goal, what have you done, what was the expected outcome, what happened instead, etc.) - you provide as much information as possible about all things that might be related (hardware, software, etc.) By reading the bug log it seems to me (as well as the involved maintainers) that your problem is related to installing drivers from outside Debian. You also might have missed http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=650699#123 (the maintainer did not CC you) which has more things for you to try, but you should probably send the output here instead.
