SSDs are way too expensive for my needs, the only time I experience I/O lag is when I use VMs, that too windows guests. RAID 1 stripe should alleviate that issue without breaking the bank. I do not see value in buying one for a desktop. Although I would get one for my laptop, if I had the money. I would feel far more relaxed riding my bike with my laptop in the backpack. -- Kind regards, Yudi
