I am sure that was a joke. I laughed at it. It implied that you install Debian and then it is good to go forever! Almost true. Of course jokes aside the uptime should just tell you how long it has been since your last Linux kernel security upgrade. Because of course after installing it then you rebooted to make sure you were safe from the latest known kernel attacks. :-) So uptime these days is limited by kernel security vulnerability announcements.
