On a new laptop (TP T520) running sid, the external hard drive I use for backup is not found at startup. vgscan finds it, vgchange -a y makes it active, and mount -a mounts the various partitions. But all that needs to be repeated at the next boot, even though /etc/init.d/lvm2 exists and the links to it seem to be right.
I've put the last two commands in rc.local, and that works. There has got to be a better way, right? -- johnrchamp...@wowway.com ==================================================== GPG key 1024D/99421A63 2005-01-05 EE51 79E9 F244 D734 A012 1CEC 7813 9FE9 9942 1A63 gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv-keys 99421A63
