I am pretty sure that browsers put the web cache into the home directory of the user that uses it or /var/tmp. I.e.: martin@merkaba:~> du -sh .mozilla/firefox/default.[...]/Cache 2,6M .mozilla/firefox/default.[...]/Cache and martin@merkaba:~> du -sh /var/tmp/kdecache-martin/http 53M /var/tmp/kdecache-martin/http Althought the first one looks a bit small.
