I second the request for kernel config parameters. But I once had a similar request on an entirely different topic, and I was hard put to decide which parameters in my config were required for the particular issue, and which were simply required for some other aspect of my hardware. So I suggest, to make it less work for Ernest to post an answer, please just post your .config file in its entirety.
