It is dhclient rewriting it, with data received from DHCP. Edit "/etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf" I have added prepend domain-name-servers 10.123.29.118, 10.123.29.115, 10.123.29.113; prepend domain-name "fredriksson.dy.fi"; -- Accent on helpful side of your nature. Drain the moat.
