I installed nslint and it revealed several: nslint: missing "ptr": z.elkins. -> 192.168.0.60 ... one each for each member of my LAN. Just for chuckles, I removed bind9 then re-installed it and the dns server is working again. However, the missing "ptr" errors remain.
