About 20 years experience in a professional environment, with about 5 or so running an MTA at home (may be longer; I can't remember). Does that count as "new"? I don't think so. To be fair, I have realised in re-reading my post that I had mistakenly edited out the "I have a static IP address and proper rDNS" statement I had originally written. On the basis of that new information I'd still appreciate knowing whether you still stand by your sweeping statement about disallowing all "home" users, or whether you'd modify it at all.
