Hello Angus, This morning when I try to ls the file, it's ok now. I check yesterday's syslog, I saw these lines: Sep 24 12:37:01 kelisa kernel: EXT2-fs error (device sd(8,8)): ext2_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 791361844, count = 1 Sep 24 12:37:01 kelisa kernel: EXT2-fs error (device sd(8,8)): ext2_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 1647261813, count = 1 Sep 24 12:37:01 kelisa kernel: EXT2-fs error (device sd(8,8)): ext2_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 1412380981, count = 1 Sep 24 12:37:01 kelisa kernel: EXT2-fs error (device sd(8,8)): ext2_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 1714370682, count = 1 Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: 08:08: rw=0, want=673720364, limit=3429846 Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: dev 08:08 blksize=4096 blocknr=168430090 sector=1347440720 size=4096 count=1 Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: 08:08: rw=0, want=673720364, limit=3429846 Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: dev 08:08 blksize=4096 blocknr=168430090 sector=1347440720 size=4096 count=1 Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: 08:08: rw=0, want=673720364, limit=3429846 Sep 25 04:01:00 kelisa kernel: dev 08:08 blksize=4096 blocknr=168430090 sector=1347440720 size=4096 count=1 What do they mean? And I did try to "kill_file" using "debugfs -w /dev/sda8" command, was this solve the problem? But after I quit from the debugfs command, I did try to do "ls -al filename", but failed as well. Thanks.
