Well, I think with that option you are getting a different thing :-) - To graphically turn off your desktop icons (while they're still available via nautilus) one has to enable "/apps/nautilus/preferences/ show_desktop" - To use your "$HOME" dir as the folder container to be displayed in your desktop (instead the default one located at "$HOME/Desktop"), you have to enable "/apps/nautilus/preferences/desktop_is_home_dir" Greetings, -- Camaleón -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
