Yes. Thank you! That was the missing specification -- which I should have understood from the note in the dialogue box, which told how to specify an alternate port. After I specified the server as "192.168.0.200:9999", the installer provided (as the default) the directory name "/debian/". I pressed ENTER, and it worked.
