I have been using Lavabit for a while, and I like them.  I don't know
for certain whether they filter outgoing STMP traffic, but I've never
seen them do it.  OTOH, I've never noticed Gmail doing it either ...

In any event, it's a well-run organization, for all that its website is
quite simple and plain; you can ask them.
