The OpenSync infrastructure has been removed from Squeeze: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=580867 SynCE might be usable without the OpenSync framework. synce-trayicon, synce- multisync-plugin (orphaned), and synce-serial are still in Squeeze, at least for now. It would be preferable if the OpenSync upstream prepared something that was suitable for inclusion in the Squeeze release. > 2)Can I just download them >from http://packages.debian.org and install them? Sure; no support though, not even security fixes. > 3) And by the way,how can I >know a package is removed or replaced by another package? I can type deb:package-name into my browser and it pulls up packages.d.o. After that, I usually follow links to the PTS and relevant bugs. -- Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. ,= ,-_-. =. b...@iguanasuicide.net ((_/)o o(\_)) ICQ: 514984 YM/AIM: DaTwinkDaddy `-'(. .)`-' http://iguanasuicide.net/ \_/
