Long answer: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=pkg&data=gdm&archive=no http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=208457 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=208536 You can follow the bug links for packages either through the package info: http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages#search_packages Or through the bug system here: http://www.debian.org/Bugs/ The question had been asked recently as well: http://lists.debian.org/search.html I had to type "gdm; greeter" and click partial match to find it, so that's not always easy. Looking up bug reports on packages is, but only if you know what package is the problem. I'm glad it works for you now. I also like the graphical greeter with the sunflower, but for now I'm waiting out the fix rather than backing off the image library. It hasn't seemed to affect anything else I do. -- Jacob Trying out SquirrelMail -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
