Wine on Debian experimental is currently 1.1.32. I have been using it for some time without major issues. Just add the experimental repos and install it by issuing: # aptitude -t experimental install wine-unstable -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
