In the last day I've been seeing a few of these:

  inetd[524]: smtp/tcp server failing (looping), service terminated

every hour.  The only think I've read that maybe exim is running too 
fast and inetd thinks it's broken and the solution is to not run exim 
from inetd.

Is that the correct solution?
