Thanx, it worked. Now I have a newbie question: When I restarted the computer, I had to redo this modprobe thing. How do I make it permanent. Also, I need a config file for alsamixer as it has way too much settings to try them all out (did that once, don't want to try again). The settings arte preferably for a 5.1 speaker sytem. Thanx for the help. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
