I have been using taper for backups for some time now, but just read an interesting article about Amanda. Is anyone using Amanda and is it better than taper?

I've used both taper and amanda... Wasn't taper the ncurses GUI thing which would only do <4GB??? I've used amanda now for a while. Like it very much. Easy to setup, easy to administrate. IMHO amanda can do way more than taper can because of its client server model.
