Also, when you get to the screen where you are asked what type of
system to install, unselect everything. Then when you reboot, you
will have a very very basic bare system, which you can then build up
to your tastes.

For a basic install Id just get the first cd iso and install that. That
is assumeing you want a Desktop. For just command line id get the
business card size one.
